"We're Captured" is the 20^th episode of Season 1 of OK K.O.! Let's Be Heroes and the 20^th episode overall.

Official Synopsis

Boxman captures KO, Enid and Rad but seems a little distracted.

Plot

K.O., Enid, and Rad are suspended over a pool of lava. Lord Boxman details his evil plan to them, but is interrupted by a timer. He runs away to attend to something, then returns, distracted. He then is interrupted by his watch, then runs away for a second time. K.O. is worried, and asks Rad and Enid for reassurance. They are not concerned about the situation they're in, having been used to it. K.O. smells something burning which leads to Lord Boxman taking out the burnt chicken from the oven. He attempts to pile the ashes to fix dinner.

Boxman answers the doorbell and quickly changes his clothes to a formal attire. At the door is Professor Venomous, with his minion, Fink. Professor Venomous halts Lord Boxman from hugging him. Professor Venomous takes off his coat and Fink offers to take the coat. Lord Boxman hears bursts from the plaza trio and runs to them. However, he is stopped by Darrell and Shannon. Lord Boxman suggests Shannon to entertain Professor Venomous and Fink.

Lord Boxman confesses to the Bodegamen that he already had plans and which he plans to deal with the Bodegamen after dinner. Lord Boxman runs to stop Shannon from singing a song. Rad and Enid are angry at Lord Boxman's unprofessional behavior. K.O. slips out of his bindings and frees Rad and Enid. Fink leaves Professor Venomous' coat to the lockers.Rad plans to escape, however, Enid plans to take revenge on Lord Boxman.

Fink dislikes Lord Boxman's dinner. Lord Boxman prepares to make a toast to Professor Venomous but is interrupted by Darrell and his sailor suit. Fink makes a paper boat and Professor Venomous wonders about the main entree. K.O., Rad, and Enid are disguised in chef uniforms to impede Lord Boxman's dinner. Lord Boxman is furious at the Bodegamen for destroying the event. Professor Venomous was about to recognize K.O., but then, the Bodegamen throws pies at the villains.

Lord Boxman builds a bazooka with parts from Darrell and Shannon and pelts pies back to the Bodegamen. Lord Boxman shoots pies that makes the Bodegamen unable to get out. Lord Boxman hears Professor Venomous calling his name and fears on his reaction. Professor Venomous asks if he can have a turn, and shoots the Bodegamen out of Boxmore.

Professor Venomous finds vanquishing heroes exciting than dinner parties which he only came by to discuss their business relationship. After seeing that Lord Boxman is distracted, Professor Venomous would buy the robots if they are fun as well. Lord Boxman hugs Professor Venomous and then, Fink punches him with a glove. K.O., Rad, and Enid concede defeat after flying in a pile of pies.

Production Notes

• Shannon and Darrell weren't originally in this episode, but Ryann Shannon and Parker Simmons decided to include them.
• The part where Shannon sings a song and Darrell wears his costume is based on Parker Simmons' life.

Continuity

• K.O. can easily free himself from tying since "Sibling Rivalry".
• The costume that Darrell wears to dinner is a nod to Lad Boxman's outfit from the episode "Legends of Mr. Gar".
• The moment where K.O.'s fake mustache falls, Professor Venomous was about to recognize K.O. It was a subtle hint that later foreshadows the relationship between them.

Cultural References

• K.O., Rad, and Enid sent flying into the sky is similar to the Team Rocket Trio "blasting off" from Pokemon.
• Lord Boxman's appearance as he is shooting K.O., Rad, and Enid with a pie blaster resembles John Rambo from the film, Rambo.
