"Red Action 3: Grudgement Day" is the 15th episode of Season 3 of OK K.O.! Let's Be Heroes and the 107th episode overall.

Official Synopsis[]

K.O. and Enid attempt to prevent a mysterious power battle between Rad and Red Action.[1]

Plot[]

TBA

Features[]

Characters[]

Trivia[]

  • The episode confirmed Enid and Red Action's relationship is romantic.

Production Notes[]

  • Eleisiya Arocha is a guest writer and storyboard artist for the episode, filling in for Stevie Borbolla when they were on a trip to Japan at the time the episode was in production.[2]
  • The storyboard scene where K.O. squeezes Rad to make slime come out of his mouth was cut, likely due to time.[3]

Continuity[]

  • K.O. and Enid went back to the past in the episodes "You're Everybody's Sidekick" and "Plaza Prom".
  • On K.O.'s social media, he sees a post from Bell Beefer about Elodie beating him from "You Have to Care". The post was before Colewort's and Potato's prom picture from "Plaza Prom".
  • It was strongly hinted throughout the episode that Rad still had feelings for Enid and the grudge he had with Red Action came from the fact that she and Enid were now lovers. This seems to have been disconfirmed in the end as Rad said he actually disliked the clip that she recorded in "You're Everybody's Sidekick", and became friends with Red Action again after the past was changed.
    • The latest episode where Rad was previously seen getting along fine with Red Action was in "Dark Plaza", which implied that Rad must had seen the clip after that episode prior to this episode.
  • When K.O. and Enid went back to the past once, K.O. notices his social media feed has a prom picture of Potato and Colewort meaning that Rad sent a friend request to Red Action after "Plaza Prom".
  • K.O. uses his referee outfit from "Are You Ready for Some Megafootball?!" to stop Red Action and Rad fighting.

Cultural References[]

  • "Jelly surfing" may be a reference to Jelly fishing, a hobby Spongebob and Patrick have in SpongeBob SquarePants.[1]
  • The episode's title is a reference to the 1991 film Terminator 2: Judgement Day.
  • Red Action's story and character makes a few references to The Terminator.
    • She's a combat cyborg sent from the future.
    • She rides a motorcycle, just like the main character of the movie.
