—"Let's Be Heroes"

Pird is a minor character in the OK K.O.! Let's Be Heroes. He prematurely fled the lab of a scientist who synthesized him from bird DNA. He is incognito as a real adult but is completely helpless.

Physical Appearance[]

Pird looks like an awkwardly dressed man of average build, with lavender feathers and slightly lighter-colored hair, yellow hands, feet, and beak, which appears as a nose. He is dressed in a white button-up shirt, khaki slacks, black shoes, and a pair of wristwatches. He is known for his very convenient, generic build.

Personality[]

He is always at the store with a stupid question or need. His personal motto is "Help me!" Pird is extremely anxious all the time and is usually seen shivering and with a nervous expression on his face.

Abilities and Powers[]

Nothing much about Pird's abilities, and he's rather afraid and helpless in bad situations. He is unable to fly. It’s a miracle he can dress himself in the morning.

History[]

"Let's Be Heroes"[]

He waits in line and asks Enid if the Bodega sells gum. He walks away, but does not take the gum.

"You're Everybody Sidekick"[]

He walks around the Bodega cluelessly.

"You Get Me"[]

He buys a carton of eggs and Enid throws a shopping bag with his eggs on his face.

"Presenting Joe Cuppa"[]

He screams in the Bodega.

"You Are Rad"[]

At the Neo Rama Game Center, Pird plays the Throw a Shot game. Because the bowling ball is heavy for him, he tries to throw it only making fall on him.

"Plazalympics"[]

He watches the Plazalympics event.

"Everybody Likes Rad?"[]

He goes to the Rad Con.

"Plaza Prom"[]

He attends the Plaza Prom badly dressed.

"We've Got Fleas"[]

He gets Enid startled before he says something. He sees a hole Enid makes.

"KO's Video Channel"[]

He commented "first" in K.O.'s latest video.

"Plaza Film Festival"[]

He watches the films from the Plaza Film Festival event, but wears 3-D glasses.

"The So-Bad-ical"[]

He shopped for groceries.

"T.K.O.'s House"[]

He enters the Bodega wearing the exact same outfit Shadowy Figure wears. T.K.O. makes K.O. to chase him and lets out a power fist but Pird ducks. Pird takes off the hood to reveal his identity, as well as the fact that his hair is on fire. He screams and runs away.

"Special Delivery"[]

Pird rides his tricycle with a helmet to a bridge where Mad Sam, Anxious Ricky and Wistful Pete are. Mad Sam eats his tricycle and Pird runs into a nearby lake and drowns.

"Wisdom, Strength, and Charisma"[]

Pird lays on the ground screaming at Lakewood Plaza Turbo.

"Super Black Friday"[]

Pird wears earmuffs and waits in line for the Super Black Friday sales.

"Project Ray Way"[]

Pird wears Raymond's fashion clothes. After Drupe opens her fashion line in the Bodega, Pird buys her fashion, especially a toque hat. He is under Raymond's control and tries to attack K.O. He is no longer under his control when Rad fights with his originality making Pird cheer for him.

"Rad's Alien Sickness"[]

Pird tells Enid that he never washes his hands before because he does not know how and wants her to show him. When he hears K.O. scream, he screams.

"Chip's Damage"[]

Pird wants to go on vacation and Chip Damage throws him into space. He asks for help on social media.

"Carl"[]

He is trapped by Carl's trail of goop.

"Dendy's Video Channel"[]

He sees the Weiner Kabob damaged.

"Let's Fight to the End"[]

He nervously fights in the Plaza Tournament and T.K.O. slams him to the ground.

"Thank You for Watching the Show"[]

In "The Truth About Pird" skit, he comes home to his family. They all scream.

Trivia[]

  • His resemblance to Pearl from the Cartoon Network show Steven Universe is open to question, as some have speculated that they share a connection. from Channel Fredator. However, Geneva Hodgson, who created the character, confirmed through the characters' original and final model sheets that their similarities was never the intention and was simply created to fit the obnoxious-customer type in the show.[2]
  • His name is a portmanteau between "person" and "bird".
  • He makes Enid cry due to his unbearable personality.
  • According to his voice actor, Chris Niosi, he received more attention and praise from playing Pird than any of the characters he played on the show.
  • According to Niosi, his take on Pird's line "Ooooooooh! Okay!" was inspired from the Lucky Captain Rabbit King from The PowerPuff Girls episode "Jewel of the Aisle".[3]
