Hey wiki users!
Ever since wikis that were updated to UCP, Fandom added a feature that notifies wiki users about a user reply to a particular article comment that the user is subscribed with. While the feature is rather niche, it doesn't apply nicely with the wiki, considering the low activity of article commenting and that the show is not airing episodes. I rather not go to the last resort to disable article comments, but thank goodness that a JS script was created. It even works with article comments from blog posts.
The Wiki Regulations have stated that users must avoid reviving a discussion or comment ("necroposting") if the proceeding post is one month old or more. I may admit that the rule isn't enforced well, but since the JS script is working, it will help moderation by auto-locking old comments and doesn't have user notifications spammed with old comment replies. Yeah, it does get annoying.
If you would like to discuss with other users and want to chat with more activity, join the wiki Discord server. It is not mandatory, keep in mind.
Example of how auto-locking old comments work:
From Enid's page, the above comment was made on April 16, 2021. This announcement is May 4, 2021. The comment will not accept any replies after May 16. The below comment was made on November 2020, more than a month passed by and the comment is not accepting any more replies. This is how the process works with other article comments.
